Entrenchment Under a blood red sky heavy with the dreary dawn, we waited. We, having been foolish enough to enlist in the military with the threat of World War I hanging over the world's collective head, were stuck sitting a godforsaken scratch in the ground, affectionately (and euphemistically) called a trench, which threatened to crush us with its melancholy jaws of dirt and sandbags. We were the few, the proud, the Marines. We were the weary, the beaten, the dead. We sat in the oppressive trench, our brains fermenting in our omnipresent fear, wondering when, not if, we would die.Entrenchment

No one falls in love by choice,
it is by CHANCE.
No one stays in love by chance,
it is by WORK.
And no one falls out of love by chance,

You.
Yes, you.
i am so sad i didn't get to hug you goodbye. Keri and i went off to say bye to some friends, and then we couldn't find the Mafia game (what do you think, by the way?), and when we finally did, you were gone. i was bummed.
But!
i am overjoyed to find that you are a part of my beloved dA, even if it still says that you are 17.
Anyway. Though it comes not nearly close...
